Singer Porsche 911s are epic.

I thought I wanted a 996, or maybe an early 997 when the prices come down low enough.

Now, I am kinda wanting a 964, with some back-dating touches... there is a reason Singer uses 964s as baseline, and makes them look older, rather than using original early cars... the 964 has some suspension upgrades and other advances, yet still retains most of the original form, where the 993's bodywork is actually significantly different than the 911 bodies previous to it.

Kinja's new URL image tool is buggy.

It seems to work better to save the image you found elsewhere on the internet, to your hard drive, and then attach it as a file in the Kinja post composer box, and let it re-upload.

I usually don't like circumventing the image source reference, but hot-linking by URL just doesn't like to work.

The charcoal gray one is called "Indonesia".

The cars are named by the US City or otherwise by foreign country of residence of the person that commissioned Singer to build it to order.

The white one with dark olive green interior and details is called Nebraska.

My favorite one (so far) is the alloy silver over red leather Mexico iteration, but they are all sublime.
